01 What is DTF printing? +
DTF stands for direct-to-film. Artwork is printed onto a transfer film and then applied to a compatible garment using heat and pressure.
02 How durable is DTF printing? +
When produced and applied correctly, DTF is designed for apparel use and can provide a durable finish. Garment type, artwork, application and care all affect long-term performance.
03 Can DTF print full-colour artwork? +
Yes. One of DTF's main strengths is its ability to reproduce detailed artwork containing multiple colours, gradients and tonal detail.
04 What garments can you print with DTF? +
DTF can work on many common apparel fabrics, but garment construction, coatings and heat sensitivity still matter. We confirm compatibility before production.
05 Is there a minimum order? +
DTF is well suited to smaller production runs, making it useful for projects where traditional high-volume setup may not make sense. Contact us with your quantity for current ordering options.
06 Is DTF better than screen printing? +
Neither method is automatically better. DTF can be excellent for detailed full-colour artwork and flexible quantities, while screen printing may make more sense for certain larger-volume or simpler projects.
07 Can you print photographs or gradients? +
DTF can reproduce photographic detail and gradients, provided the source artwork is suitable and has enough resolution for the intended print size.
08 Can I supply my own garments? +
Contact us before purchasing or supplying garments. We need to confirm that the fabric and construction are suitable for the decoration process and your project requirements.
09 What artwork files do you need? +
Vector artwork such as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF is ideal. High-resolution transparent PNG files can also work well depending on the artwork.
10 How should DTF garments be washed? +
We recommend following the care instructions provided with your finished order and avoiding excessive heat that can unnecessarily stress decorated apparel.
